Africa Young Scientists (AYS) is a Non - for Profit Organization that aim to unite, mentor, and promote young scientists from Africa in exploring science, technology and innovation. AYS was established by Philip A. Adeniyi, Ph.D. as a small mentorship group in year 2014 and expanded into AYS on the 20th of July, 2019. AYS was created to bring together young, dynamic, brilliant and innovative Scientists in-making across Africa to pave ways for innovations for the benefit of mankind. This was done to fill the mentorship gaps between the upcoming scientists and the older generations, especially for female scientists.
